CATECHIST CERTIFICATION CREDIT
To receive Catechist Certification Credits, a person must complete the following steps:

  1.  Watch the video. (Note: some classes are in two parts and both parts must be watched to receive credit).
  2. See Assignment Information Sheet under each course description and complete required assignment for each class.
  3. Write a one-to-two page reflection paper to summarize what you have learned. Papers should be prepared in 12-point font, Times new Roman, double-spaced, with 1 inch margins on all four sides.
  4. Submit your paper to Office of Faith Formation by email or mail to:

  5. After paper has been reviewed, and credits are granted, you will receive your completion sheet and an invoice in the amount of $10 per course. Payment along with a copy of the invoice should be mailed to:

These presentations are a brief overview of the historical development of liturgy, the basic principles of celebrating liturgy and the introduction/concluding Rites of the Mass.

This presentation is an appreciation of diverse expressions of both personal and communal spirituality and the exploration of the activities of the Spirit of the Church and in the world.

These presentations explore the meaning of the sacraments, the role they have in the Church, and the principles of liturgical celebration of the sacraments.

Overview of the Mass: Part 1 and Part 2

These presentations focus on the Mass, the “source and summit” of all the Church’s activity, as well as, the meaning and purpose of the primary elements of the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
